Andrew White III bounced around quite a bit during his time in college, he started off at Kansas where he played limited minutes (5.5 mins/game), then transferred to Nebraska where he played well in a larger role, and finally he finished his college career at Syracuse. Due to some of the NCAA rules, he sat out a year in between transfers. White III was a key player for the Orange this season and led the team in scoring. He has good size and strength to play either the SG/SF positions in the NBA. He has high 3+D potential and shot over 40% from 3pt land on over 8 attempts/game. He was consistent in scoring throughout most of the season and had many games where he scored over 20 pts. White III needs to improve on his creating and playmaking skills, for now he's mainly a spot up shooter, even though he's a good shooter, the ability to put the ball on the floor would really elevate his game. White III is also an ok athlete, he's good enough to get by in the NBA, but will need to find ways to be effective against athletically superior defenders. Overall White III has good role player potential and an NBA ready body, he is definitely worth a flier somewhere in the 2nd round.
