Sabonis has benefited from staying another year in college and will most likely be taken in the late lottery to mid teens.  He is the son of the former Portland Trailblazers center Arvydas Sabonis and you can see a lot of his game in Domantas.  He does a great job establishing position in the post early and when Sabonis gets the ball he uses his strength and array of post moves to get easy baskets.  He has improved his game a lot over the past year and can now finish jump hooks with either hand.  He has a great motor and is tough to stop on the glass.  He had to be triple teamed by Syracuse in the NCAA tournament in order to be slightly slowed down on the boards, but still finished with 17 Rebs.  Sabonis has a high basketball IQ and will make the easy pass or take advantage of the mismatch.  Even though he lacks length, he is a pesky defender who uses his body to muscle players up in the post, but he may struggle to guard longer PF's and C's in the NBA.  Sabonis needs to work on his shot, he showed progress this season and his shot has potential, but it still needs a lot of work if he's going to have any sort of game outside of 5-7 feet.  As of now he almost plays more like a Center than a PF.  Overall Sabonis is a good player and may even be the best PF in this draft.  And if his workouts go well, he may jump higher into the lottery.
