Georgios Papagiannis
Measurements
7'2" 240 lbs 18 years old
Pro Comparison
Similar to Tibor Pleiss, Tomofey Mozgov, or Nikola Jokic
Strengths
Georgios Papagiannis has great size and length for an NBA big man. He is athletic and is a very good screener which sets him up nicely for pick and roll ally-oops. He has great mobility for his size and has the potential to become a solid rim protector and overall defender. He shows good touch on jump hooks around the basket, and occasionally will shoot the 10-15 ft jumper. His offensive game needs work, but he shows some promise on that end. Papagiannis does a good job of playing to his strengths, he will do the little things on the court and not try and play outside of himself. He needs to continue to bulk up and add strength to handle the NBA level of play. Also, he needs to get better as a rebounder, he has the tools, and with NBA development and coaching, he should be able to improve. Overall Papagiannis is a good prospect who can either come to the NBA immediately or be a draft and stash guy in the second round.
