Josh Okogie has risen up draft boards since the end of the season, not only due to his offensive production, but also due to the fact that NBA decision makers have had time to go back and watch more film on him in the past few months. Okogie has solid size at 6'4.5" and 211 lbs, but has extremely long arms with a 7'0" wingspan. He was a productive offensive player this past season at Georgia Tech and averaged 18.2 pts per game. He's a good shooter and shows the ability to shoot from anywhere on the court and in a variety of ways, and does an especially nice job getting into his shot smoothly off the bounce. Okogie is a good rebounder for his size/position and grabbed 6.3 rebs per game thanks to his length and instincts. He shows some ability to create space off the bounce and should improve with NBA training, but his handle tends to get a bit shaky at times and he could improve his ability to run P/R and playmake for others. Defensively, Okogie has solid footwork and gives good effort, he also has the size/versatility to defend multiple positions at the next level. Athletically, Okogie is solid, but lacks high level quickness/bounce which hurts his ability to get past and finish over quicker/longer defenders. Overall, Okogie is a solid prospect who has role player potential and is worth a flier in the late 1st/early 2nd round.
