Wade Baldwin
Measurements
6'3" 195 lbs 6'10" wingspan 20 years old
Pro comparison
A mix of George Hill and CJ McCollum
Strengths
Wade Baldwin has come onto the draft scene this season after a solid freshman year. He is a very long and taller PG and has an NBA ready body in terms of strength and size. He has the potential to be a good defender. On offense he is a good passer, shooter (spot ups or pull ups), and rebounder. He is smart and keeps the ball moving, he also plays at a very steady/patient pace. He is very calm and doesn't seem to get rattled. Baldwin isn't the quickest PG and will most likely struggle against athletic defenders in the NBA. At this point he is too right hand dominant and doesn't really have a lot of moves in the tool bag when put in isolation situations. He will need to work on these two things if he is to create offense in the NBA. Overall Baldwin is a good PG prospect who could start on a team with good players surrounding him or who may blossom a few years down the road with more coaching and experience.
