Wesley Iwundu took another positive step forward this season and helped lead Kansas State to the NCAA tournament for the first time in a while. He did a little bit of everything for his team, he rebounded well, defended, made plays, and was somewhat of a go to scorer. He altered his shooting mechanics in the off season and it paid off as he improved his FG% from the FT, 2pt, and 3pt areas. He has good 3+D potential for the NBA and is an underrated playmaker. He has good size/length and is a solid enough athlete to get by as a role player/bench contributor. Iwundu will struggle dealing with the physicallity and elite athleticism found in the NBA, he has a thin frame and will have a tough time checking bigger players. While his shooting has improved, this year was the first year of his new form and he will need to continue working on his shooting consistency in the NBA. Overall Iwundu may be one of the sneaky good value picks in the draft as he is a do it all type of player.
