The 76ers finished the season with a 28-54 record, which seems depressing on paper, but all in all it was a positive and exciting season. Joel Embiid exploded onto the NBA scene and looks like a legit superstar when healthy. Dario Saric made his debut and seems to be another solid piece to the roster. Ben Simmons unfortunately suffered a season ending foot injury in training camp, but one has to be hopeful about his fit after an encouraging summer league. They dealt away Nerlans Noel to the Mavericks for Justin Anderson and picks and now seem eager to deal Jahlil Okafor. Due to their poor record they recieved the 5th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, but exercised their swap rights with Sacramento to jump up to #3. They ended up dealing the 3rd pick and future picks to the Celtics for the #1 pick, where they selected Washington PG Markelle Fultz. They have a ton of cap space and need to add some solid vets to help mentor their young core, overall "trust the process" is in full affect and watch out for the 76ers in the coming years.
