The 76ers have drafted some good pieces over the years, two of which have not played a single game (Dario Saric and Joel Embid). Both are scheduled to play this upcoming season, but there are no guarantees. They have a young core and could use some more solid pieces if they want to compete in the future.
(Updated 7/3/16) The 76ers didn't surprise anybody by taking Ben Simmons with the #1 overall pick (making Noel or Okafor available). He was the best player available and has the potential to be a franchise player. They also picked up 2 talented forwards in Timothe Luwawu and Furkan Korkmaz late in the first round. Both Luwawu and Korkmaz were the best players available and add depth and talent to this young roster. They can now hunt for a PG via trade or free agency. Draft Grade: A+ Team Needs
