The Bucks are coming off an interesting season, they made the playoffs and pushed the Raptors to 6 games, but in the end they fell short of expectations due to injuries. Khris Middleton injured his hamstring before the season started and was out 6 months and Jabari Parker was having an all-star caliber season before he went down mid-season due to a torn ACL (same ACL that was torn his rookie season). On a bright note, Giannis took a massive leap in play and is one of the young superstars in the league. Rookies Malcolm Brogdan and Thon Maker were key pieces to their success and seem to be nice role players for the future. In this years draft they selected versatile PF D.J. Wilson, he brings outside shooting and athleticism, he needs development, but is in a good place in Milwaukee. In the 2nd round they selected SMU SG/SF Sterling Brown, he also adds shooting to the wing and has the potential to be a decent role player in the NBA. With the East weakening the Bucks have a chance to improve their playoff positioning, but once again they're going to start the season injured. I'm optimistic on how they'll finish, but one thing is for certain, watching Giannas's continued growth will be awesome to behold.
