The Bulls are coming off a disappointing season where they failed to make the playoffs. New head coach Fred Hoiberg struggled to infuse his system and lost the confidence of some players. The Bulls have a roster in flux, the team has shifted from Derrick Rose's to Jimmy Butler's. The old grit and grind players such as Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson are wearing down fast and will need to be replaced. Pau Gasol is going to be a unrestricted free agent and it's unclear if he will return to Chicago. The Bulls will need to use their picks wisely to try and replace/fill open and future positions.
(Updated 7/8/16) The Bulls had a very solid draft, selecting Denzel Valentine and Paul Zipser. Both add depth and shooting. Valentine is a versatile player, but needs to improve defensively. Zipser could be one of the steals of the 2nd round, he has good size and athleticism for the NBA. With the addition of Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo (I don't understand that last signing) the Bulls will be an entertaining team to watch.
