The Lakers are coming off a terrible season that was mainly about Kobe's farewell then it was about winning games. They were able to keep their pick this year as they received the 2nd pick in this years lottery. They have a young core of D'angelo Russell, Julius Randle, and Jordan Clarkson. They also hired Luke Walton as the new head coach and have loads of cap space to play with, which they can use to fill many open positions.
(Updated 7/4/16) The Lakers had a very good draft that adds to their young core. Ingram should be a great fit alongside Randle, Russell, and Clarkson. Zubac was projected to be a first round pick and slid to the Lakers at #32. Zubac will bring size and toughness at a position of need. Draft Grade: A Team Needs
